Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Botelhos SC's Murilo Pontes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cássio Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Guedes in the 8th minute of play. If Gláuber Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Botelhos SC's goalkeeper Cássio Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elder Souto in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cássio Peres saved Botelhos SC from getting behind. Gláuber Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gláuber Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Elder Souto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botelhos SC's Cássio Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gláuber Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elder Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cássio Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cássio Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Guedes in the 39th minute of play. Elder Souto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Peres having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gláuber Guedes to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match Elder Souto climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-1 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Cássio Peres. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gláuber Guedes in the 55th minute of play forced Botelhos SC's goalkeeper Cássio Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Botelhos SC's goalkeeper Cássio Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cássio Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gláuber Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Elder Souto might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio Peres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elder Souto ran back to his position shaking his head. Cássio Peres made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Elder Souto sent off a good shot on target. Cássio Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gláuber Guedes in the 67th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elder Souto got free with Cássio Peres in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Botelhos SC's zone, Gláuber Guedes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Peres came out of the goal and Gláuber Guedes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Elder Souto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elder Souto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When %teams%'s Gláuber Guedes was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-2 just inside the left pole, 77 minutes into the game. Cássio Peres was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Cássio Peres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gláuber Guedes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 85 minute of play. Gláuber Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cássio Peres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. When the match was over Ponta da Praia FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Botelhos SC throughout the match.
