A collision led to Panico FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. André Luís dos Santos hit a great ball. Arí Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murilo Madureira in the 18th minute of the match. Arí Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guga Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 minutes, André Luís dos Santos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panico FC and the Itaperucu players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Leal in the 26th minute of play forced Panico FC's goalkeeper Arí Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes in the game, Marco Prestes fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edson Dantas having to interfere. André Luís dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Dantas having to interfere. Cleiton Dante in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edson Dantas, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arí Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Leal in the 45th minute of play. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cleiton Dante to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cleiton Dante in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edson Dantas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Panico FC were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Itaperucu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emerson Brasil took the corner. The corner ended in Emerson Brasil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Itaperucu's Edson Dantas did a great save. When Panico FC's Cleiton Dante in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
