Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nikola Omayski kicked off to start the match. Nikola Omayski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 5 minutes, Eliseu Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galheiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Pirani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nikola Omayski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galheiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nikola Omayski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Galheiro FC's goalkeeper Mattias Tham had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kléber Fernandez. The audience was convinced that Nikola Omayski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlos Corrêa was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After 31 minutes, Gilson Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Oriente EC and the Galheiro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Oriente EC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Gilson Maia hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Nikola Omayski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Giovani Nogueira hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Carlos Corrêa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chiquinho Pombal in the 36th minute of the match. Nikola Omayski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Carlos Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eliseu Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Galheiro FC's zone, Kléber Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Tham came out of the goal and Kléber Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

If Kléber Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Tham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto do Valle in the 56th minute of play. Nikola Omayski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Carlos Corrêa made a huge save. Nikola Omayski in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Carlos Corrêa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Galheiro FC's Nikola Omayski got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zé Pedro Varelas short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Carlos Corrêa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Nikola Omayski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Carlos Corrêa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Eliseu Pirani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galheiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseu Pirani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Corrêa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 79 minutes into the match, Galheiro FC's Leandro Cosme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Corrêa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nikola Omayski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Corrêa came out and tried to block the shot, but Nikola Omayski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nikola Omayski got free with Carlos Corrêa in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mattias Tham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galheiro FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
