Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gildo Silveira kicked off to start the match. Sydney Eger hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Marcus Veiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dito Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Umberto Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Dito Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st minute Gildo Silveira suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Amadeu Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amadeu Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Macinha SS got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Mazza. After recieving a nice pass, Liberata SC's Caco Campidelis tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When Cléberson Barral came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Macinha SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléberson Barral couldn't finish the play. Frank Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléberson Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Adelino Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dito Viana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcus Veiga went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Cléberson Barral took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Adelino Mattos to make any attempt to save it. Adelino Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cléberson Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Frank Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléberson Barral to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Liberata SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Marcus Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute, Macinha SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcus Veiga fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nilton Hoffmann kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Adelino Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Messias in the 76th minute of play. When Marcus Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Liberata SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcus Veiga couldn't finish the play. Cléberson Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Adelino Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Marcus Veiga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dito Viana was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Frank Messias struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Adelino Mattos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Macinha SS. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
