Eriberto Falcão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Dunder Mifflin MS's goalkeeper Eriberto Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Almeida. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dito Arantes in the 24th minute of play forced Força Alagoana's goalkeeper Belchior Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Reinaldo Pernambucano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Belchior Mandrak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 31 played minutes Força Alagoana got a freekick which was hit by Beto Almeida. 35 minutes into the match, Força Alagoana's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Leão came free, but Belchior Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Pernambucano notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Força Alagoana's Belchior Mandrak. Belchior Mandrak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Beto Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eriberto Falcão having to make a save. Belchior Mandrak came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Dunder Mifflin MS's José da Rocha. But to his dismay, José da Rocha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Força Alagoana getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Juvenal Dracena hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Força Alagoana's zone, Reinaldo Pernambucano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belchior Mandrak came out of the goal and Reinaldo Pernambucano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reinaldo Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Belchior Mandrak made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Dracena in the 60th minute of play forced Dunder Mifflin MS's goalkeeper Eriberto Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. When Reinaldo Pernambucano came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Dunder Mifflin MS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reinaldo Pernambucano couldn't finish the play.
