Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Anajatuba's Pedrinho Leme started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valdemar Marquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatello Quadros in the 9th minute of play forced Anajatuba's goalkeeper Valdemar Marquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Abaetetuba AD booed when Anajatuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute, Donatello Quadros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 11 played minutes Anajatuba got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Loyola. Valdemar Marquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Fontes in the 14th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, one of Abaetetuba AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Abaetetuba AD. Eliseu Arruda shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Pedrinho Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. José Maria Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Anajatuba's Pedrinho Leme ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind José Maria Barreto. José Maria Barreto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Donatello Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pedrinho Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Anajatuba defense, Vicente Fontes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valdemar Marquez. The Anajatuba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valdemar Marquez should have stopped the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donatello Quadros made a kick off. Anajatuba's Valdemar Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donatello Quadros in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Agnaldo Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anajatuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agnaldo Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute of the match Agnaldo de Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Maria Barreto skillfully saved the ball. Donatello Quadros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Anajatuba getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jardel Cunha hit a great ball. Vicente Fontes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Agnaldo Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Marquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donatello Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. José Maria Barreto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agnaldo Correia's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Abaetetuba AD's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Leme came free, but José Maria Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donatello Quadros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valdemar Marquez came out and tried to block the shot, but Donatello Quadros slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 81st minute. Vicente Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abaetetuba AD's José Maria Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Leme in the 92nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Leme in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Maria Barreto saved Abaetetuba AD from getting behind. Abaetetuba AD's José Maria Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Leme in the 95th minute of play. Pedrinho Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Anajatuba supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Abaetetuba AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Abaetetuba AD.
