Rubens Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jano Matorin in the 6th minute of the match. Jano Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubens Cosme having to interfere. A hard shot 13 in the game by Tonhão Martinez from a close distance when the talented Rubens Cosme managed to make a qualified save. Interiorano SC's players were relieved. In the 16th minute Diamantino Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Martinez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Interiorano SC's Rubens Cosme got control of the ball when Tonhão Martinez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jano Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel-Benjamin Rutkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel-Benjamin Rutkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 46th minute of the match Severino Vaz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tony Martinez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the match, Interiorano SC's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Breckenfeld came free, but Rubens Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rubens Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With 64 minutes on the clock, Renatinho Capixaba commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Interiorano SC! In the 70th minute, Mateus Rosado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rubens Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juvenal Breckenfeld, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Mateus Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Tony Martinez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Buritama FC's goalkeeper Tony Martinez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateus Rosado. Rubens Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Matorin in the 85th minute of play. Rubens Cosme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jano Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Jano Matorin took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubens Cosme. Rubens Cosme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Buritama FC had played much better football throughout.
