Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) With his leg Léo Recife managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Buritama FC's Tonhão Martinez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Jabuticabal SC's Alfredo Vidal got a free kick in the 5th minute. Léo Recife made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juvenal Breckenfeld in the 12th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Jabuticabal SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Richard Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Jano Matorin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buritama FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Matorin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Jabuticabal SC defense, Juvenal Breckenfeld kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Léo Recife. The Jabuticabal SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Léo Recife should have stopped the shot. Jano Matorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Léo Recife having to interfere. Juvenal Breckenfeld struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Léo Recife didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buritama FC. 42 minutes into the match, Jabuticabal SC's goal looked a bit too open when Jano Matorin came free, but Léo Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tonhão Martinez to make the kick off. Luís Fabiano Faustino hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Jano Matorin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Léo Recife was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Alfredo Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Juvenal Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th play minute Albertino Moreno came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tony Martinez. 2-1. Léo Recife stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jano Matorin's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Juvenal Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Wang Ang Chao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Léo Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tonhão Martinez in the 80th minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Jano Matorin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buritama FC and the Jabuticabal SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th minute, Jano Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albertino Moreno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Tony Martinez made a huge save. In the 91st minute Jano Matorin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Léo Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Léo Recife stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tonhão Martinez's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Jano Matorin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Buritama FC fully deserved thier win.
