Thanks to some nice moves Alexsandro Arruda could shoot a difficult shot in the 11th minute, which Didi Cruz however easily saved by the left post. After 15 minutes, Richard de Amorim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Remansinho EC and the Frechal AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Alexsandro Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrão Lopes took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luisão Nascimento. Luisão Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Didi Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavinho Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Frechal AD's goalkeeper Didi Cruz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexsandro Arruda. A collision led to Frechal AD getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Enrique de Amorim hit a great ball. Flavinho Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Didi Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Flavinho Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didi Cruz having to interfere. Alexsandro Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Didi Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agnaldo Matos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Richard de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Frechal AD booed when Remansinho EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Rodriguinho Cordeiro sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Remansinho EC's Luisão Nascimento didn't even have to move. Didi Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Arruda in the 88th minute of the match. When Alexsandro Arruda came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Remansinho EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexsandro Arruda couldn't finish the play. Alexsandro Arruda took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Didi Cruz. Didi Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
