In the 16th match minute, Joanico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. When Aloísio Bezerra fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Revenge's protests and gave Aloísio Bezerra a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Joanico booed when Revenge was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aloísio Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Sílvio Luiz Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Revenge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sílvio Luiz Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Téo Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucas Esteves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Joanico's Richard Marquez got control of the ball when Téo Vergílio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Joanico's Waldemar Leal got a free kick in the 46th minute. Sílvio Luiz Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Richard Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Luís Gustavo Estevess short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Lucas Esteves to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kléber Figueiredo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Xavier in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucas Esteves saved Revenge from getting behind. Lucas Esteves was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Donato Xavier capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Donato Xavier really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Kléber Figueiredo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Téo Vergílio might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Marquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Téo Vergílio ran back to his position shaking his head. Richard Marquez came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Revenge's Téo Vergílio. But to his dismay, Téo Vergílio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Lucas Esteves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Xavier in the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Leal got free with Lucas Esteves in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Revenge's Hortêncio Gomes got a free kick in the 77th minute. Téo Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Richard Marquez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Revenge's Lucas Esteves got control of the ball when Luís Gustavo Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. Téo Vergílio struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Richard Marquez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revenge. Revenge's Sílvio Luiz Penha suffered a sore foot after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inácio Couto during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Joanico's Inácio Couto got a free kick in the 87th minute.
