After having played for 3 minutes, Zé Pedro Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buracao FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Pedro Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Buracao FC booed when Sapato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Falcão Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Ademir Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buracao FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademir Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alessandro Bertassi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6thth minute of the game Zé Pedro Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sapato's Alessandro Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joélson Cordeiro struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Alessandro Bertassi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buracao FC. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Durval Palmeira took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Giovanni Silva to make any attempt to save it. In the 19thth minute of the game Zé Pedro Perez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sapato's Alessandro Bertassi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by César Trigo during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Buracao FC booed when Sapato was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sapato's César Trigo got a free kick in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Pedro Perez in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alessandro Bertassi saved Sapato from getting behind. When Buracao FC's Ademir Tepedino in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sapato's goalie prevented a goal. Sapato's Alessandro Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Chaves in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joélson Cordeiro in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro Bertassi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ademir Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Rafael Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute Ademir Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Pedro Perez to strike the kick off in the second half. Giovanni Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Tepedino in the 53rd minute of the match. Genílson Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ademir Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 60 minutes, Ademir Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 65th match minute, Sapato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Netto to maneuver through the defense. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 70th minute, but Alessandro Bertassi got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sapato hanging dry this time. Buracao FC's Giovanni Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Palmeira in the 71st minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Buracao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulisses Diniz to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match Aloísio Munhoz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giovanni Silva skillfully saved the ball. Joélson Cordeiro in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alessandro Bertassi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Sapato support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
