A collision led to Bitumirim SS getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Jorginho Rezende hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, Bitumirim SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Koehler to maneuver through the defense. After 12 played minutes, Muriquioca FC's Régis Barbosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Renatinho Diniz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Muriquioca FC reached it. If Donatello Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 played minutes Muriquioca FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Barbosa. After 29 minutes of play, Muriquioca FC's Moisés Baptista made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renatinho Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Donatello Paraense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Fellipe Luz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Frederico Vergílio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Donatello Paraense charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donatello Paraense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Donatello Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Donatello Paraense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Fellipe Luz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Bitumirim SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Muriquioca FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hernani Freire to strike the kick off in the second half. When Hernani Freire came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Bitumirim SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernani Freire couldn't finish the play. If Hernani Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes Bitumirim SS got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Rezende. After 67 minutes of play, Muriquioca FC's Moisés Baptista made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renatinho Diniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Botelho in the 72nd minute of play forced Bitumirim SS's goalkeeper Renatinho Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th match minute, Bitumirim SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donatello Paraense in the 79th minute of play. Lúcio Barreto's late challenge caught a Bitumirim SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Barreto helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bitumirim SS booed when Muriquioca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Barreto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moisés Baptista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Diniz having to interfere. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Muriquioca FC to win.
