Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cajueiras FC's Lino do Valle started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jonas do Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cléber Galvão in the 5th minute. Jonas do Nascimento acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cacá Machado. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matozinhos's goalkeeper Jeremias Braga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Lino do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute Fernandão Ferraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Matozinhos booed when Cajueiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jonas do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Leme struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Jonas do Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matozinhos. In the 28th minute, Erik Leme reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jonas do Nascimento. The goal made the score 1-0. Erik Leme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonas do Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Matozinhos's Cléber Galvão sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas do Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonas do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandrinho Loureiro in the 52nd minute of play. Luisinho Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cajueiras FC defense, Erik Leme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonas do Nascimento. The Cajueiras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonas do Nascimento should have stopped the shot. When Matozinhos's Cléber Galvão in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cajueiras FC's goalie prevented a goal. Erik Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas do Nascimento having to interfere. Cléber Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Matozinhos booed when Cajueiras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Lino do Valle took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Jeremias Braga to make any attempt to save it. 82 minutes into the match, Cajueiras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Galvão came free, but Jonas do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléber Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Cléber Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see Cajueiras FC's Alfredo Miranda in action when he in the 89th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Erik Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Jonas do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matozinhos's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
