Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ciro Pires took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Valdo Seco suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 3 minutes, Sidnei Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osasco FC and the Domingao SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sidnei Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Carlos Alberto Catarinense, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Ciro Pires came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Osasco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciro Pires couldn't finish the play. Osasco FC's Ciro Pires was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When Ronaldinho Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Osasco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldinho Gerber couldn't finish the play. Ciro Pires struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Toninho Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osasco FC. With a little luck, Domingao SS's Toninho Neto got control of the ball when Ronaldinho Gerber tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciro Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Neto having to interfere. Toninho Neto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Márcio Queirós made a kick off. Márcio Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Paraense having to interfere. In the 57th minute Ciro Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toninho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Márcio Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Ronaldinho Gerber put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Toninho Neto. After 72 played minutes Osasco FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Pires. In the 75th minute, Márcio Queirós fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Clemente Paraense, passed just outside the right post. Hermínio Toscano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Toninho Neto. Domingao SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Domingao SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Peres to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 83 played minutes Domingao SS got a freekick which was hit by Cléberson de Sena. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ciro Pires sped through Domingao SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Toninho Neto. After a rather tough play, Osasco FC's Sidnei Machado got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Cléberson de Sena's late challenge caught a Osasco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cléberson de Sena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th match minute, Domingao SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cléberson de Sena to maneuver through the defense. Osasco FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
