After 3 minutes of play, Corinthias S A's 俞梁锋 made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clemente Paraense was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Clemente Rosado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Paraense was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Vicente Batista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Ronaldinho Gerber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vicente Batista. Corinthias S A's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronaldinho Gerber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Vicente Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ronaldinho Gerber went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Corinthias S A's Vicente Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Gerber in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Corinthias S A's Durvalino de Brito got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Pires in the 25th minute of play forced Corinthias S A's goalkeeper Vicente Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Ronaldinho Gerber made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Batista. Corinthias S A's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. A collision led to Osasco FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Pires made a kick off. Clemente Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Paraense having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Hamílton do Nascimento took a quick shot and it went in 2-7 without a chance for Vicente Batista to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Osasco FC's Pedro Luiz Goiano got a free kick in the 74th minute. After 75 minutes, Clemente Rosado made it 3-7 with a short kick to the right side. Osasco FC's Clemente Paraense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Clemente Paraense stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Rosado's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Clemente Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clemente Rosado might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Paraense. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clemente Rosado ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Rosado in the 90th minute of play forced Osasco FC's goalkeeper Clemente Paraense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Corinthias S A booed when Osasco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldinho Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball.
