Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marquinhos Batista took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nicolas da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Vides having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Marquinhos Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vinhedo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marquinhos Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Falcão Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas da Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Falcão Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Batista in the 10th minute of play. When Vinhedo's Nicolas da Mata in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Hamílton Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Corrêa in the 18th minute. Vinhedo's Hamílton Couto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Vinhedo from getting a goal against them. Falcão Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marquinhos Batista in the 21st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Marquinhos Batista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vinhedo's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Batista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falcão Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marco Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Corrêas short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Hamílton Couto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marquinhos Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Vides having to interfere. Marquinhos Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Falcão Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Vinhedo were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bebeto Guimarães to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Nicolas da Mata sped through Sapezal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Falcão Vides. Juninho Rosa hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Marquinhos Batista sped through Sapezal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Falcão Vides. Sapezal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sílvio Proença in the 87th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Nicolas da Mata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. When the final whistle sounded Vinhedo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sapezal.
