Caco Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. With a little luck, Cordeiros FC's Caco Baptista got control of the ball when Tiaguinho Cardoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tiaguinho Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Caco Baptista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Caco Baptista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caco Baptista came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Nioac AD's Sílvio Luís Terra. But to his dismay, Sílvio Luís Terra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 89 played minutes Cordeiros FC got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Fernandez.
