Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Guga Salgado made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, one of RODRSO 02:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RODRSO 02. Ivo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albertinho Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Guga Salgado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivo Maranhense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. When Zé Penha fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Morungaba's protests and gave Zé Penha a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Morungaba got a freekick which was hit by Zé Penha. After having played for 24 minutes, Claudinei Britto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RODRSO 02's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudinei Britto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guga Salgado in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivo Maranhense saved RODRSO 02 from getting behind. Ivo Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Cristiano Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivo Maranhense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Salgado in the 37th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cristiano Xavier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivo Maranhense was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After having played for 43 minutes, Cristiano Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The wind increased when Pedro Luís da Mata made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Guga Salgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivo Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Salgado in the 55th minute of play forced RODRSO 02's goalkeeper Ivo Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís da Mata notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Morungaba's Ronaldinho Quadros. Ronaldinho Quadros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guga Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ivo Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Maranhense was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Penha showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 65 minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Morungaba's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís da Mata came free, but Ronaldinho Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Luís Santana came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the RODRSO 02 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Santana couldn't finish the play. Morungaba's Guga Salgado got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldinho Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 88th minute Pedro Luís da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldinho Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RODRSO 02's goalkeeper Ivo Maranhense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
