Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cido de Alcântara started the match with the kick off. Luiz Paulo Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Túlio Peixoto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luan Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Valdomiro Catarinense, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 10th minute, Valdo Munhoz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raúl Oliveira made a great header on Ituguacu SS's corner, it was just that Barrocao SC's Túlio Peixoto managed to reach the ball for a save. Luiz Paulo Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabiano Braga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Túlio Peixoto. Túlio Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Vianna in the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Luan Urbano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Túlio Peixoto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nelson Breckenfeld's late challenge caught a Ituguacu SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelson Breckenfeld helped the player get up and apologised. The Barrocao SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ituguacu SS were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Paulo Vianna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Barrocao SC's goalkeeper Túlio Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdo Munhoz. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Cido de Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrocao SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido de Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gernando Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Barrocao SC's Túlio Peixoto got control of the ball when Valdo Munhoz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some careless play in the Barrocao SC defense, Valdo Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Túlio Peixoto. The Barrocao SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Túlio Peixoto should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Vianna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Túlio Peixoto. Luiz Paulo Vianna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 74th minute of the match, Luiz Paulo Vianna tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Túlio Peixoto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Barrocao SC's Flávio Alvarenga in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ituguacu SS's goalie prevented a goal. Narciso Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Narciso Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Barrocao SC booed when Ituguacu SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narciso Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Cido de Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ituguacu SS's Gernando Hermes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Ituguacu SS's Valdo Munhoz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Peixoto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After having played for 96 minutes, Luiz Paulo Vianna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ituguacu SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Paulo Vianna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
