When Nicolas de Andrade came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Lajeados AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas de Andrade couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Márcio Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Paulo Camargo in the 21st minute. Ricardo Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ismael Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Zonta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Barreto's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 33 played minutes Lajeados AD got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Garcia. Ricardo Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismael Zonta having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chαrmosinhα Sport Club's zone, Ricardo Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Zonta came out of the goal and Ricardo Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Barreto in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldinho Garcia struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ismael Zonta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lajeados AD. The supporters of Lajeados AD booed when Chαrmosinhα Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chαrmosinhα Sport Club's zone, Osvaldinho Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Zonta came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Chαrmosinhα Sport Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lajeados AD were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Barreto made a kick off. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ricardo Barreto sped through Chαrmosinhα Sport Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ismael Zonta. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Barreto in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Chαrmosinhα Sport Club's zone, Osvaldinho Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Zonta came out of the goal and Osvaldinho Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ismael Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardo Barreto in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ismael Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lajeados AD's Osvaldinho Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Ismael Zonta managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Lajeados AD's Ricardo Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Osvaldinho Garcia charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldinho Garcia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 68 played minutes Lajeados AD got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldinho Garcia. With a little luck, Chαrmosinhα Sport Club's Ismael Zonta got control of the ball when Ricardo Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ismael Zonta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Chαrmosinhα Sport Club's zone, Valério Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismael Zonta came out of the goal and Valério Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Ismael Zonta made a huge save. When Lajeados AD's Ricardo Barreto in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chαrmosinhα Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. If Ricardo Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ismael Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chαrmosinhα Sport Club fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lajeados AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
