Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Celso Meira got the match started through his kick off. Edinho Braga kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Márcio Melo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Meira, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 13 minutes, Ricardo Barreto made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Troya's Alfredão Alcântara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Jorge Souto fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Troya's protests and gave Jorge Souto a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes Troya got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Souto. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Ricardo Barreto put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredão Alcântara. Ricardo Barreto struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ricardo Barreto was the one to do the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredão Alcântara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Troya's zone, Ricardo Barreto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredão Alcântara came out of the goal and Ricardo Barreto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Alfredão Alcântara managed to avoid a goal in the 93rdth minute, when Lajeados AD's Ricardo Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 94th minute Ricardo Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Osvaldinho Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lajeados AD's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
