An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo Dracena in the 4th minute of play forced Cego's goalkeeper Donato Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Ferreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Jeferson Zilles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cego's Donato Albuquerque played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Dracena in the 13th minute of play. Francisco Ferreira was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Jonathan Toledo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Toledo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Donato Albuquerque took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeferson Zilles in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Albuquerque saved Cego from getting behind. Geraldo Dracena hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fellipe Maia in the 24th minute of play forced Vaduz FC's goalkeeper Francisco Ferreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Zilles in the 26th minute of play forced Cego's goalkeeper Donato Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Cego's Manoel Azevedo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Manoel Azevedo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cego protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Manoel Azevedo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee gave Vaduz FC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eurico Simão, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cego's Donato Albuquerque. 1-1. Francisco Ferreira came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Cego's Fiori Velasco. But to his dismay, Fiori Velasco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Fellipe Maia fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cego's protests and gave Fellipe Maia a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Cego:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vaduz FC:s goal. Miguel Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Nilmar Simões hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Jeferson Zilles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ferreira having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vaduz FC's zone, Fiori Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Ferreira came out of the goal and Fiori Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With his leg Donato Albuquerque managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Vaduz FC's Jeferson Zilles fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 62nd minute, Kiko Oliveira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Cego's goalkeeper Donato Albuquerque had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeferson Zilles. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeferson Zilles in the 66th minute of play forced Cego's goalkeeper Donato Albuquerque to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fellipe Gomes's late challenge caught a Vaduz FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fellipe Gomes helped the player get up and apologised. Fellipe Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Jeferson Zilles in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donato Albuquerque, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Donato Albuquerque didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeferson Zilles went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 97 played minutes Cego got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Netto. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
