In the 13th minute, Lucas de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio Guerra in the 16th minute of play forced Zimbros AD's goalkeeper Romeu Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Virgílio Guerra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeu Oliveira. Zimbros AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Virgílio Guerra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademar Costa in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Romeu Oliveira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Virgílio Guerra in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeu Oliveira saved Zimbros AD from getting behind. The wind increased when Cipriano Marques made the kick off in the second half. Amadeu Mangueira's late challenge caught a Peruje EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeu Mangueira helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Zimbros AD's zone, Giuseppe Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romeu Oliveira came out of the goal and Giuseppe Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Marques had several of the Zimbros AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 81 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Romeu Oliveira as he didn't even see the shot coming. Zimbros AD's Romeu Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Marques in the 84th minute of play. The corner ended in Giuseppe Araújo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zimbros AD's Romeu Oliveira did a great save. Peruje EC played a much better game than Zimbros AD and deserved their victory. The Zimbros AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
