Geraldo Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Digo Carvalho in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute Samuel Gomes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geraldo Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Conventos AD's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Paiva came free, but Márcio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edson Paiva succeeded in the game's 24th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Cristian Prado hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. João Vítor Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Márcio Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Márcio Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edson Paiva's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Rinite Alérgica booed when Conventos AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Digo Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edson Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cido Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Hoffmann having to interfere. Márcio Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edson Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Márcio Hoffmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor Saraiva in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Edson Paiva made the kick off in the second half. 0-2 became the score in the 57th minute when Edson Paiva elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 68 played minutes Rinite Alérgica got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Passos. Geraldo Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Gomes in the 73rd minute of play. Edson Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Márcio Hoffmann skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Edson Paiva sped through Conventos AD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Márcio Hoffmann. Edson Paiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Márcio Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Vítor Saraiva in the 84th minute of play. With his leg Márcio Hoffmann managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Rinite Alérgica's Edson Paiva fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 87 minutes into the match, Conventos AD's goalkeeper Márcio Hoffmann had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edson Paiva. Cido Velloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Digo Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Edson Paiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rinite Alérgica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conventos AD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Rinite Alérgica's Edson Paiva got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Conventos AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rinite Alérgica were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
