Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when André Luiz do Vale kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz do Vale in the 4th minute of play forced Conventos AD's goalkeeper Márcio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Conventos AD's goal looked a bit too open when André Luiz do Vale came free, but Márcio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conventos AD's Samuel Gomes got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 18th minute, one of Conventos AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Conventos AD. The referee gave Naraniu a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alfredinho Valladares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Conventos AD's Márcio Hoffmann. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Gomes in the 26th minute of play forced Naraniu's goalkeeper Dalmo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Naraniu's Dalmo Costa got control of the ball when Digo Carvalho tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Naraniu's goalkeeper Dalmo Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Digo Carvalho. André Luiz do Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Naraniu's André Luiz do Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio Hoffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Conventos AD booed when Naraniu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Digo Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Dalmo Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Naraniu's Frederico Ferraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio Hoffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After some careless play in the Conventos AD defense, Egídio Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Márcio Hoffmann. The Conventos AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Márcio Hoffmann should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Samuel Gomes was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Conventos AD got a freekick which was hit by Silas Meira. If André Luiz do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Frederico Ferraz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Naraniu's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Ferraz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th match minute, Naraniu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guilherme Eger to maneuver through the defense. André Luiz do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Hoffmann having to interfere. Dalmo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Samuel Gomes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Gomes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmo Costa having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Naraniu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! In the 99th minute, André Luiz do Vale got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Naraniu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
