After having played for 4 minutes, Haroldo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bilisquetiis E C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haroldo Barbosa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 5 minutes, Leandro Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lesbian Team and the Bilisquetiis E C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Leandro Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicolas Antunes in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horácio Recife saved Lesbian Team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Bilisquetiis E C's Nicolas Antunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Horácio Recife. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. Nicolas Antunes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 19th minute. Bilisquetiis E C's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Nicolas Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bilisquetiis E C's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horácio Recife breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 26th minute, Leandro Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horácio Recife was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sérgio Coelho. In the 29th match minute, Lesbian Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. Lesbian Team's Horácio Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Antunes in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bilisquetiis E C's zone, Jacinto Prestes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chicão Sanches came out of the goal and Jacinto Prestes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the game, one of Bilisquetiis E C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Chicão Sanches went to the wrong direction when Leandro Souza was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Jacinto Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Prestes to make the kick off. Haroldo Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Velloso in the 60th minute of the match. Narciso Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Chicão Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonel Furlan charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonel Furlan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lesbian Team booed when Bilisquetiis E C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Furlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chicão Sanches was a little too slow when Jacinto Prestes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-2. Nicolas Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horácio Recife having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Vidal got free with Chicão Sanches in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Lesbian Team booed when Bilisquetiis E C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chicão Sanches stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Prestes's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. If Narciso Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jacinto Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bilisquetiis E C's Leonel Furlan got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Leonel Furlan off the ground. After a rather tough play, Bilisquetiis E C's Leonel Furlan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Jacinto Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lesbian Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Prestes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chicão Sanches breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Lesbian Team had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
