Daniel Diniz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tostão Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Anisa Troopers F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael Viana came free, but Cido Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Raphael Viana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cido Urbano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Dourado getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Cesinha Castro hit a great ball. Daniel Diniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tostão Messias's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. In the 29thth minute of the game Raphael Viana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anisa Troopers F.C's Cido Urbano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raphael Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Cido Urbano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Dourado's Daniel Diniz got control of the ball when Valdemar da Costa tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Raphael Viana came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Dourado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael Viana couldn't finish the play. Dourado's Wilton Cavalcante got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Dourado getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Nestor Mota hit a great ball. Anisa Troopers F.C's Tostão Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Décio Prado hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

In the 56th minute, Maurício Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Diniz came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Anisa Troopers F.C's Tostão Messias. But to his dismay, Tostão Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Dourado's zone, Valdemar da Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Diniz came out of the goal and Valdemar da Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Raphael Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Raphael Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurício Varela helped the player get up and apologised. After 77 played minutes Dourado got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Varela. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Valdemar da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anisa Troopers F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar da Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Diniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Anisa Troopers F.C defense, Wilton Cavalcante kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cido Urbano. The Anisa Troopers F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cido Urbano should have stopped the shot. Raphael Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute.
