Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Dourado's Enio Gaúcho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raphael Vides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Wilton Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dourado's Raphael Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Gigante da Colina's goal looked a bit too open when Wilton Cavalcante came free, but Raphael Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raphael Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Wilton Cavalcante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Raphael Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Gigante da Colina got a freekick which was hit by Juarês Queiroz. The audience was convinced that Wilton Cavalcante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raphael Vides was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Gigante da Colina's zone, Raphael Viana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Vides came out of the goal and Raphael Viana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enio Gaúcho charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enio Gaúcho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Enio Gaúcho hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Raphael Viana took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raphael Vides. Raphael Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. A collision led to Dourado getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Maurício Varela hit a great ball. Wilton Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Raphael Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dourado's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raphael Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphael Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Viana in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Viana in the 45th minute of play forced Gigante da Colina's goalkeeper Raphael Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raphael Viana to make the kick off. With his leg Raphael Vides managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Dourado's Wilton Cavalcante fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Gigante da Colina's Juarês Queiroz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Raphael Vides made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Wilton Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th match minute, Gigante da Colina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Pitta to maneuver through the defense. When Percival Araújo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gigante da Colina's protests and gave Percival Araújo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th minute, one of Gigante da Colina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gigante da Colina. Benjamim Alagoano shot the penalty kick right outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamim Alagoano in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raphael Vides saved Gigante da Colina from getting behind. Juarês Queiroz got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 74th minute, Juarês Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, Jânio de Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gigante da Colina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dourado the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gigante da Colina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 78th minute. Penalty! Dourado's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
