The CR Atlétas de Cristo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Arlindo Negri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tales Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Wilton de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilton de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Negri in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, CR Atlétas de Cristo's Luiz Guilherme Cearense got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the game's 20th minute Samambaia's Robinho Cabral took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Wilton de Mendonça and thus the score was 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, CR Atlétas de Cristo's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Negri came free, but Wilton de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arlindo Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilton de Mendonça having to interfere. 1-2 became the score in the 27th minute when Tales Botelho elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Wilton de Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Falcão Neves in the 31st minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Luan Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arlindo Negri kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Davi Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CR Atlétas de Cristo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Mangueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davi Mangueiras short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got César Silveira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luan Eger to strike the kick off in the second half. Samambaia's César Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Mangueira in the 55th minute of play. Tales Botelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luiz Guilherme Cearense hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Wilton de Mendonça was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Robinho Cabral. Samambaia's César Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Mangueira in the 60th minute of play. Wilton de Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlindo Negri's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. If Tales Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Davi Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. CR Atlétas de Cristo's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. César Silveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. César Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luan Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 2-2 became the score in the 74th minute when Luan Eger elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Alfredinho Velasco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wilton de Mendonça, passed just outside the right post. Wilton de Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlindo Negri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samambaia's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
