Wilton de Mendonça made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredão Simão in the 4th minute. A collision led to CR Atlétas de Cristo getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Filipe Pombal hit a great ball. In the 18th minute, Luan Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gabriel Costa hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Itahu defense, Davi Mangueira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernardinho Camargo. The Itahu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernardinho Camargo should have stopped the shot. In the 27th match minute, Itahu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Simão to maneuver through the defense. Luan Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute Luan Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardinho Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Pombal during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Filipe Pombal hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After the first half CR Atlétas de Cristo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Luan Eger made the kick off in the second half. If Luan Eger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ruy Prado fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itahu's protests and gave Ruy Prado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Itahu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruy Prado to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Davi Mangueira made a precise shot to the right of Bernardinho Camargo. Itahu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Bernardinho Camargo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. In the 72nd minute Glauco Zonta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilton de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredão Simão struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Wilton de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itahu. Vicente Carioca hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Alfredão Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davi Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilton de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredão Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. CR Atlétas de Cristo played a much better game than Itahu and deserved their victory. The Itahu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
