Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gino Sampaio started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Luís Fabiano Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgard Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artur Trancoso in the 4th minute of play. Luís Fabiano Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alessandro Paraibano in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Xavier in the 14th minute of play forced Creche Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Edgard Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edgard Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artur Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. With a little luck, Capoeiras's André Paulista got control of the ball when Wilson Alvarenga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Pedro Luiz de Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Couto having to interfere. Capoeiras's André Paulista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Capoeiras from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Gino Sampaio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of André Paulista, 2-0. If Artur Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Luís Fabiano Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgard Couto was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 44 minutes, Gino Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Creche Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gino Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Fabiano Costa was the one to do the kick off. Artur Trancoso was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 56th minute. Capoeiras's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gino Sampaio in the 57th minute of play forced Capoeiras's goalkeeper André Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Creche Esporte Clube's Edgard Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur Trancoso in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Creche Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Trancoso came free, but Edgard Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Capoeiras's Tião Moreno got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Carlinhos das Neves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Capoeiras's André Paulista didn't even have to move. 75 minutes into the game, Adalmo Penha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capoeiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Creche Esporte Clube the free kick. After 75 played minutes Capoeiras got a freekick which was hit by Adalmo Penha. Gino Sampaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gino Sampaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Artur Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Couto was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Creche Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Artur Trancoso came free, but Edgard Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
