Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cecilio Lucero kicked off to start the match. Gino Sampaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aílton Araújo having to interfere. Agnaldo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Edgard Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Clube Atletico Mineiro's Aílton Araújo got control of the ball when Wilson Alvarenga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agnaldo Ramos in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Couto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Clube Atletico Mineiro's Aílton Araújo got control of the ball when Wilson Alvarenga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgard Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 23rd minute Manfredo Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cecilio Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agnaldo Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Edgard Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Lucero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wilson Alvarengas short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Aílton Araújo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edgard Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Ramos in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Gino Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aílton Araújo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gino Sampaio to make the kick off. Cecilio Lucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Couto having to interfere. Edgard Couto was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Agnaldo Ramos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agnaldo Ramos really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Cecilio Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Creche Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Paraibano. In the 66th minute, Agnaldo Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Cecilio Lucero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edgard Couto. That made the score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. Cornelio Eate charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornelio Eate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 played minutes Clube Atletico Mineiro got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Eate. After 77 minutes, Gino Sampaio made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Clube Atletico Mineiro's Aílton Araújo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Gino Sampaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clube Atletico Mineiro's Cecilio Lucero got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Clube Atletico Mineiro's Agnaldo Ramos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th match minute, Creche Esporte Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos das Neves to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Clube Atletico Mineiro's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Sampaio came free, but Aílton Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Clube Atletico Mineiro's Cecilio Lucero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
