If Belchior Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belchior Paranaense blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilian Amorim having to make a save. After 46 minutes, Cássio da Fonseca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Happy Esporte Clube and the Cumé que Chama FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game was made by Hílton Monteiro with Christiano Travassos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The throw-in from Thiago Moraes in the 69th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Happy Esporte Clube's Nelson Ferraz. 71 minutes into the game, José Vítor Meireles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Happy Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cumé que Chama FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Happy Esporte Clube's José Vítor Meireles got a free kick in the 71st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cumé que Chama FC's zone, Belchior Paranaense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilian Amorim came out of the goal and Belchior Paranaense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jano Marques might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilian Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jano Marques ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 81st match minute, Cumé que Chama FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. Wilian Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belchior Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the game, Happy Esporte Clube's Belchior Paranaense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilian Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 89th minute, Belchior Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cumé que Chama FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
