Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Engenharia Elétrica FC's Raphael Esteves started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a defensive mix-up in Engenharia Elétrica FC's zone, Douglas Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulinho Dias came out of the goal and Douglas Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paulinho Dias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arlindo Madureira in the 5th minute. Paulinho Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Gustavo Dante in the 7th minute of play. Raphael Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maurinho Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Arlindo Madureira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Dias having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Engenharia Elétrica FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Gustavo Dante came free, but Paulinho Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Luís Fernando Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Raphael Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maurinho Neves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Téo Hoffmann hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Banca's Breno Cunha tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 27th minute Luís Gustavo Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulinho Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Esteves in the 29th minute of play forced Banca's goalkeeper Maurinho Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paulinho Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Dante in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to Engenharia Elétrica FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Téo Hoffmann hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, Douglas Alvarenga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Engenharia Elétrica FC the free kick. The supporters of Engenharia Elétrica FC booed when Banca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Alvarenga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Engenharia Elétrica FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benê Barbosa in the 45th minute. The corner led to Engenharia Elétrica FC's Albertinho do Vale getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Cauã Veloso scored 0-2 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurinho Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Gustavo Dante to make the kick off. A collision led to Banca getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Luís Gustavo Dante hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Banca's Arlindo Madureira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulinho Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute Raphael Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurinho Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurinho Neves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Raphael Esteves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 64 minute of play. In the 71st minute, Engenharia Elétrica FC's Raphael Esteves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Paulinho Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Gustavo Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cauã Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raphael Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Maurinho Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Gustavo Dante in the 95th minute of play forced Engenharia Elétrica FC's goalkeeper Paulinho Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Luís Gustavo Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banca's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulinho Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Engenharia Elétrica FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Engenharia Elétrica FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
