Evoluçao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Engenharia Elétrica FC the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Evoluçao's zone, Cauã Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Galvão came out of the goal and Cauã Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cauã Veloso took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Galvão. Jacinto Galvão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jacinto Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Raphael Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Paulinho Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Galvão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Kauã Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Dias having to interfere. When Kauã Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Evoluçao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kauã Mesquita couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Kauã Mesquita made the kick off in the second half. Kauã Mesquita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Evoluçao booed when Engenharia Elétrica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Hoffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kauã Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Dias having to interfere. Paulinho Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Evoluçao's goalkeeper Jacinto Galvão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cauã Veloso. Kauã Mesquita might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulinho Dias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kauã Mesquita ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Téo Hoffmann during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Engenharia Elétrica FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Hoffmann to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Mesquita might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulinho Dias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kauã Mesquita ran back to his position shaking his head. Engenharia Elétrica FC's Paulinho Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauã Mesquita in the 66th minute of play. Jacinto Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Esteves in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauã Veloso got free with Jacinto Galvão in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evoluçao's Jacinto Galvão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Evoluçao from getting a goal against them. If Kauã Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Evoluçao's Jacinto Galvão got control of the ball when Cauã Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 80 minutes, Cauã Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Engenharia Elétrica FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauã Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kauã Mesquita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Dias having to interfere. Reginaldo Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulinho Dias having to interfere. Oswaldo Fontes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Jacinto Galvão made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Cauã Veloso sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Esteves in the 93rd minute of play forced Evoluçao's goalkeeper Jacinto Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Raphael Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Galvão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Evoluçao supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Engenharia Elétrica FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Engenharia Elétrica FC.
