Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Rikard Falkrantz made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Geovanni Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Favoretto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Geovanni Tróia was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 4th minute. Acarau AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Haroldo Favoretto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Tróia in the 8th minute of play. Rikard Falkrantz scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diogo Cabral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dário Alcântara made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 15thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Haroldo Favoretto would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Haroldo Favoretto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Toader Podgoreanu charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toader Podgoreanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Curima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Podgoreanu to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Acarau AD's Gilson Rodrigues tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Toader Podgoreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Haroldo Favoretto made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Dário Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. Diogo Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Falkrantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Haroldo Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovanni Tróia to make the kick off. Haroldo Favoretto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovanni Tróia in the 52nd minute of the match. When Inácio Pena came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Curima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inácio Pena couldn't finish the play. Inácio Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Cabral having to interfere. Rikard Falkrantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diogo Cabral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rikard Falkrantz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 63rd minute, Nando Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute of the match Gilson Rodrigues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haroldo Favoretto showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 68th match minute, Curima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rikard Falkrantz to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dário Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Rikard Falkrantz struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Diogo Cabral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curima. In the 79th match minute, Acarau AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Perez to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Favoretto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovanni Tróia went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Geovanni Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
