Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bruno Hermes got the match started through his kick off. 9 minutes into the match, Macajuba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Hermes came free, but Hélder Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Tafu's zone, Clóvis Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gildo Sampaio came out of the goal and Clóvis Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 minutes, Laerte Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Macajuba FC and the Tafu players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th match minute, Macajuba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Machado to maneuver through the defense. Macajuba FC's Hélder Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Hermes in the 15th minute of play. Hélder Trigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélio Fontes in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Macajuba FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Arantes hit a great ball. Hélder Trigo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 21st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abel Vergílio. A collision led to Macajuba FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Dino Domingues hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Tafu's Bruno Hermes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hélder Trigo. That made the score 1-0 after 26 minutes of play. Rubens Galvão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the game, Laerte Machado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gildo Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Clóvis Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gildo Sampaio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clóvis Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute, Dagoberto Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute of the match Abel Vergílio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hélder Trigo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

51 minutes into the game, Macajuba FC's Rubens Galvão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gildo Sampaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Hélder Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Hermes in the 61st minute of play. Hélder Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruno Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Tafu booed when Macajuba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Vergílio struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Hélder Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tafu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Schmidt in the 73rd minute of play forced Macajuba FC's goalkeeper Hélder Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Gildo Sampaio managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Macajuba FC's Dino Domingues fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 78th match minute, Tafu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hélio Fontes to maneuver through the defense. Dino Domingues did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Gildo Sampaio 79 minutes into the match. Dino Domingues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gildo Sampaio having to interfere. The Macajuba FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
