Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Nelsinho Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Carlos Medeiros in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Vergílio in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Falcão saved Victores Veritatis SC from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Victores Veritatis SC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuca Vergílio came free, but Nelsinho Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Victores Veritatis SC got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Seco. If Zé Carlos Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuca Vergílio in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho Falcão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Zé Carlos Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Araborladit EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zé Carlos Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Osvaldinho Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Seco in the 23rd minute of play. Osvaldinho Velloso was a little too slow when Róbson de Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. Caetano Seco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osvaldinho Velloso having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Vergílio in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Falcão saved Victores Veritatis SC from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Róbson de Andrade notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Araborladit EC's Osvaldinho Velloso. Osvaldinho Velloso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Vergílio in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Falcão saved Victores Veritatis SC from getting behind. Nelsinho Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38th play minutes Samuca Vergílio shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Nelsinho Falcão and just under the crossbar into goal. Zé Carlos Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Seco in the 45th minute of play forced Araborladit EC's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Victores Veritatis SC booed when Araborladit EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Araborladit EC's goalkeeper Osvaldinho Velloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Glauco de Barros. Osvaldinho Velloso was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Glauco de Barros capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Glauco de Barros really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Caetano Seco made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Victores Veritatis SC defense, Zé Carlos Medeiros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nelsinho Falcão. The Victores Veritatis SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nelsinho Falcão should have stopped the shot. In the 58thth minute of the game Samuca Vergílio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Victores Veritatis SC's Nelsinho Falcão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nelsinho Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Márcio Ceresso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Victores Veritatis SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araborladit EC the free kick. Osvaldinho Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelsinho Falcão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Carlos Medeiros in the 69th minute. Victores Veritatis SC's Nelsinho Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuca Vergílio in the 71st minute of play. Caetano Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Velloso having to interfere. In the 75th minute Caetano Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Zé Carlos Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelsinho Falcão having to interfere. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Caetano Seco sped through Araborladit EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Osvaldinho Velloso. Nelsinho Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Vergílio in the 91st minute of play.
