Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Donatello Sabóia started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Mirapenima EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nildo Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. Gonçalo Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 13 minutes, Edmundo Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TiagoAlv FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gonçalo Motta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Mineiro's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 24 minutes into the match, TiagoAlv FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nildo Oliveira came free, but Narciso Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, TiagoAlv FC's Sydney Guerra got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute of the match Nildo Oliveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Narciso Cearense skillfully saved the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Donatello Sabóia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Narciso Cearense, 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Magno Bertassi during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Magno Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Narciso Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donatello Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Gonçalo Motta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Mineiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonçalo Motta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Mineiro ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Mineiro to make the kick off. Mané Lima hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 54 played minutes Mirapenima EC got a freekick which was hit by Tomé Teles. Vito Saraiva struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Gonçalo Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TiagoAlv FC. Mirapenima EC's Gonçalo Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Mineiro in the 57th minute of play. Gonçalo Motta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Mineiro in the 59th minute of the match. TiagoAlv FC's Luiz Gustavo Terra got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Guilherme Ribeiro fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TiagoAlv FC's protests and gave Guilherme Ribeiro a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to TiagoAlv FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Guilherme Ribeiro hit a great ball. Edmundo Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Gonçalo Motta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TiagoAlv FC. After 71 minutes, Mané Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mirapenima EC and the TiagoAlv FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of TiagoAlv FC booed when Mirapenima EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mané Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Edmundo Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Gonçalo Motta managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when TiagoAlv FC's Edmundo Mineiro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Narciso Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nildo Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edmundo Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edmundo Mineiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gonçalo Motta having to make a save. Gonçalo Motta acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 85th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Sydney Guerra. After having played for 87 minutes, Edmundo Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TiagoAlv FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Edmundo Mineiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gonçalo Motta, 1-2. TiagoAlv FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
