Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cássio Sanches got the match started through his kick off. Marcus Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Sanches in the 5th minute of play. Falcão Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Hugo Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Percy Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Faisqueiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percy Dracena couldn't finish the play. Percy Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Marcus Diniz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dezan SEP's Waldemar Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute Cássio Sanches shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Percy Dracena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Marcus Diniz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Falcão Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 played minutes Faisqueiro got a freekick which was hit by Kiko França. After having played for 41 minutes, Cássio Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Faisqueiro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cássio Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Falcão Lopes came free in the 45th minute and tried to tip the ball over Hugo Pontes, but to the joy of Faisqueiro's supporters the ball went over.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Falcão Lopes made a kick off. If Percy Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. After 69 played minutes Dezan SEP got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Berger. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Sanches in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Diniz saved Dezan SEP from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waldemar Viana during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy Dracena in the 74th minute of play forced Dezan SEP's goalkeeper Marcus Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Viana fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 84th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Dezan SEP's Falcão Lopes got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Falcão Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Pontes having to interfere. Marcus Diniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Dracena in the 95th minute of play. Marcus Diniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Sanches in the 96th minute of the match. The Faisqueiro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dezan SEP's performance. The match ended with a win for Dezan SEP.
