The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, maninhos-ms's Ismael Hermes got a free kick in the 2nd minute. The tension between the maninhos-ms and the Faisqueiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to maninhos-ms getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Almir Capixaba hit a great ball. Percy Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alex Simões having to interfere. Cássio Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Alex Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, maninhos-ms's goal looked a bit too open when Percy Dracena came free, but Alex Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 27th play minutes Alessandro Cosme shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Hugo Pontes and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 37th minute, Kiko França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Hugo Pontes managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when maninhos-ms's Alessandro Cosme fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Faisqueiro's goalkeeper Hugo Pontes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Faisqueiro's Percy Dracena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex Simões narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute Tales Valadares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Pontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tales Valadares was the one to do the kick off. Fabrício Matorin didn't quite understand what happened when in the 63 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 64th minute, Alexandre Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Sanches sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo Pontes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tales Valadares in the 82nd minute of the match. Kiko França's late challenge caught a maninhos-ms's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kiko França helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Faisqueiro's Kiko França got a free kick in the 83rd minute. maninhos-ms's Alex Simões proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save maninhos-ms from getting a goal against them. Tales Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. maninhos-ms had won after a very even match.
