The Navirai fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Navirai's zone, Régis Trigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percival Soares came out of the goal and Régis Trigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Serafim Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano de Barros having to interfere. FC Bayern Munich's Luiz Fabiano de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Alagoano in the 41st minute of play. Navirai's Serafim Garcia got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 43 minutes, Emanuel Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Navirai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

58 minutes into the match, FC Bayern Munich's goal looked a bit too open when Serafim Garcia came free, but Luiz Fabiano de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FC Bayern Munich getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Cássio Figueiredo hit a great ball. Régis Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Soares having to interfere. Nestor Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Navirai defense, Régis Trigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Percival Soares. The Navirai fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Percival Soares should have stopped the shot. When Nestor Vides came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Bayern Munich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Vides couldn't finish the play. After 78 played minutes FC Bayern Munich got a freekick which was hit by Oséias Matorin. Navirai were furious when Rubinho Moreno was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 87th match minute, Navirai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubinho Moreno to maneuver through the defense. Breno Arruda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Percival Soares having to make a save. In the 90th minute, Manolo Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
