Leonel Lago came out of the goal and Armando Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Armando Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, AAASamba Maioral F.C.'s Vicente Teixeira got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 16 played minutes, S&V FC's Claudinei de Mendonça shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leonel Lago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S&V FC reached it. After 20 played minutes, AAASamba Maioral F.C.'s Diogo Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sílvio Perez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AAASamba Maioral F.C. reached it. Christian Oliveiras short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Sílvio Perez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. S&V FC's Armando Pinheiro got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luís Paulo Peixoto's late challenge caught a S&V FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Paulo Peixoto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AAASamba Maioral F.C. getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Luís Paulo Peixoto hit a great ball. In the 35th match minute, S&V FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. When David Reis fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AAASamba Maioral F.C.'s protests and gave David Reis a yellow card for diving instead. David Reis kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Sílvio Perez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Paulo Peixoto, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Armando Pinheiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 54th minute, Luís Paulo Peixoto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Leonel Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If David Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Paulo Peixoto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Pinheiro got free with Leonel Lago in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Lago having to interfere. Armando Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 84 played minutes, AAASamba Maioral F.C.'s Vicente Teixeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sílvio Perez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Sílvio Perez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Paulo Peixoto in the 92nd minute of play. After 95 played minutes AAASamba Maioral F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Luís Paulo Peixoto. After a rather tough play, AAASamba Maioral F.C.'s David Reis got a free kick in the 96th minute. S&V FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing AAASamba Maioral F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
