Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Fabiano Duarte started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bateias! 9 minutes into the match, Bateias's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Santana came free, but Clóvis Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Fronteira's goal looked a bit too open when Silas Lira came free, but Emerson Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silas Lira in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bateias's zone, Gino Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clóvis Oliveira came out of the goal and Gino Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Bateias's Arlindo Cavalcante got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Abelardo Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Emerson Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abelardo Recife blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emerson Lago having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Silas Lira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bateias's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Lira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emerson Lago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute, Abelardo Recife got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas Lira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emerson Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Fronteira's Fabiano Duarte sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clóvis Oliveira narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
The wind increased when Silas Lira made the kick off in the second half. If Silas Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabiano Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emerson Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Recife in the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Lira in the 69th minute of play forced Fronteira's goalkeeper Emerson Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silas Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Abelardo Recife's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emerson Lago read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Emerson Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlindo Cavalcante in the 82nd minute of play. Fabiano Duarte was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Abelardo Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Lago having to interfere. Emerson Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Recife in the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Fronteira were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Bateias side.
