Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Naldo Vaz started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Erivaldo Maciel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Pedro Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. In the 7thth minute of the game Naldo Vaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ledo SS's Gilmar Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Naldo Vaz scored 1-0 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilmar Toscano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erivaldo Maciel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Andrade in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernani Andrade in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erivaldo Maciel saved Ipigua from getting behind. Celsinho Romero charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Celsinho Romero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Celsinho Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Luiz Sergipano's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Erivaldo Maciel - 1-1 was put on the score board in the 23rd minute. Erivaldo Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernani Andrade's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Naldo Vaz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Ledo SS's goal looked a bit too open when Naldo Vaz came free, but Gilmar Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 43 minutes, Gino Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipigua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gino Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naldo Vaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gilmar Toscano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Ledo SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Pedro Ortiz got free with Erivaldo Maciel in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naldo Vaz in the 53rd minute of play forced Ledo SS's goalkeeper Gilmar Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naldo Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Naldo Vaz made a precise shot to the right of Gilmar Toscano. Ledo SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 65 minutes into the match, Ipigua's Naldo Vaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilmar Toscano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gino Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Ernani Andrade ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erivaldo Maciel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 77th minute, Benedito de Medeiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tião Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipigua's protests and gave Tião Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ipigua getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Tião Hoffmann hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Pedro Ortiz got free with Erivaldo Maciel in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilmar Toscano came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipigua's Mário Rosado. But to his dismay, Mário Rosado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ledo SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ipigua.
