Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Téo Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Samuca Hames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo FC. With a little luck, São Paulo FC's Emerson Albuquerque got control of the ball when Walmir Sabóia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, São Paulo FC's Lucas Matias made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuca Hames was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the game, Téo Ortiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Paulo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lucuri AD the free kick. 21 minutes into the game, Agnaldo Linhares recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emerson Albuquerque. Agnaldo Linhares showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Emerson Albuquerque made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrique Palmeira in the 24th minute of play. Lucuri AD's Samuca Hames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Matias in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Matias in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuca Hames prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lucas Matias struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Samuca Hames showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Ortiz in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Lucuri AD booed when São Paulo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio da Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Lucas Matias made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Lucas Matias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuca Hames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Téo Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the São Paulo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Téo Ortiz couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Henrique Palmeira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lucuri AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
