Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hernani de Amaral in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geovânio França prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hernani de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Geovânio França tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21st match minute, Igualdade SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Silveira to maneuver through the defense. In the 22ndth minute of the game Wellington Novaes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Igualdade SC's Geovânio França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Igualdade SC's zone, Wellington Novaes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geovânio França came out of the goal and Wellington Novaes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wellington Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wellington Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovânio França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani de Amaral in the 31st minute of play. If Hernani de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geovânio França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernani de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani de Amaral in the 38th minute of play forced Igualdade SC's goalkeeper Geovânio França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willian Tavares made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Urucu's Hernani de Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geovânio França narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Geovânio França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Wellington Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willian Tavares during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
