Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when João Vítor Miranda got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute João Vítor Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aníbal Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in CFZ's zone, Válbson Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denílson Gaúcho came out of the goal and Válbson Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, CFZ's Flávio Tinoco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aníbal Velasco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 20 minutes, Flávio Tinoco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CFZ and the Martim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Flávio Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Orlando Simões hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the game, João Vítor Miranda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aníbal Velasco. João Vítor Miranda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 33 minutes, João Vítor Miranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CFZ and the Martim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, João Vítor Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flávio Tinoco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Aníbal Velasco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Válbson Linares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denílson Gaúcho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Válbson Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Válbson Linares to make the kick off. Flávio Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Aníbal Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Favoretto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Gaúcho having to interfere. Eurico de Lima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Denílson Gaúcho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Flávio Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot. CFZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Tinoco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aníbal Velasco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. CFZ were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after Martim FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Belmiro Netto took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vítor Miranda in the 75th minute of play forced Martim FC's goalkeeper Aníbal Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson Linares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denílson Gaúcho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes CFZ got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Mattos. Denílson Gaúcho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Linares in the 79th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Válbson Linares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martim FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Martim FC's Válbson Linares got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás Mattos's late challenge caught a Martim FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Mattos helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CFZ getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tomás Mattos hit a great ball. If Flávio Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Flávio Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CFZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flávio Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Vítor Miranda in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aníbal Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flávio Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
