Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Natanael Damião started the match with the kick off. After 8 played minutes Cumanda SC got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Gomes. Túlio Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Richard Paraíba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Dênis Gomes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cumanda SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lanca EC the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Cumanda SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Gomes to maneuver through the defense. Natanael Damião blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Paraíba having to make a save. Natanael Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Paraíba having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cumanda SC's Beto Souto got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Natanael Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lanca EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Natanael Damião was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, João Carlos Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fellipe Quintal during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cumanda SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! After the first half Lanca EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimir Mandrak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Túlio Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cumanda SC's Vladimir Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Váldson Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Abreu in the 61st minute of play. In the 67th minute, Renan Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Túlio Penha struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Richard Paraíba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanca EC. Beto Souto hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Túlio Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Vladimir Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Túlio Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Richard Paraíba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Richard Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Damião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Váldson Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Mandrak in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Vladimir Mandrak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Váldson Medeiros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th match minute, Cumanda SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beto Souto to maneuver through the defense. Richard Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natanael Damião in the 98th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Lanca EC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
