Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Walmir Queirós kicked off to start the match. Caco Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 6 played minutes Bandeirinha AD got a freekick which was hit by Agostinho Coutinho. A collision led to Joao AD getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Fábio Paiva hit a great ball. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Joao AD! João Vítor Nunes placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When Bandeirinha AD's Walmir Queirós in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joao AD's goalie prevented a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goalkeeper Rafa Montenegro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Sá. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Lucas Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joao AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Sá was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafa Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucas Sá received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rafa Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafa Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Arósio in the 29th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Walmir Queirós had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sílvio Luís de Godoi. Joao AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmir Queirós was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rafa Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Caco Pimenta in the 38th minute. Caco Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 45 played minutes Bandeirinha AD got a freekick which was hit by Alex Gaspar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucas Sá got free with Rafa Montenegro in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caco Pimenta to make the kick off. If Lucas Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joao AD's Lucas Sá in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandeirinha AD's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bandeirinha AD's zone, Caco Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Montenegro came out of the goal and Caco Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Joao AD's Caco Pimenta in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bandeirinha AD's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60th minute, Lucas Sá got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Sá came free, but Rafa Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Lucas Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafa Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Bandeirinha AD's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Pimenta came free, but Rafa Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Joao AD's zone, Walmir Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sílvio Luís de Godoi came out of the goal and Walmir Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Caco Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Walmir Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Luís de Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sílvio Luís de Godoi made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Anísio Meireles sent off a good shot on target. Lucas Sá struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Rafa Montenegro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joao AD. Rafa Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Sá, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Caco Pimenta took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafa Montenegro. Rafa Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Despite being the better team, Joao AD failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
